Small Load Drop-off Facility

The York County Solid Waste Authority’s Small Load Drop-off Facility consists of more than four acres and is located within the York County Resource Recovery Center campus.  The facility includes a waste bunker to serve small haulers and space to accommodate yard waste and electronics recycling.  The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to noon.  Residents must first stop at the scalehouse and will be directed to the drop-off facility.  Please click on the links below for more information.

Directions to the Small Load Drop-off Facility located at the York County Resource Recovery Center:

From I-83:
Proceed on I-83 to Exit 21 (Arsenal Rd /Route 30E).  As you come off the exit ramp, get immediately into the far left turning lane and proceed to the stoplight at the intersection of Toronita Street and Route 30E (you will see the “Round the Clock Diner” at this intersection).  Turn left onto Toronita Street (Toronita turns into Blackbridge Road).  Proceed approximately 1½ miles to the Resource Recovery Center located on the left side of the roadway.  Take the second gate entrance into the facility.  Proceed to the inbound scale and check in with the weigh master.

From Rt. 30:
