The York County Solid Waste Authority will host “Hauler Appreciation Day” at the York County Resource Recovery Center on Thursday, September 20th from 11:30AM until 1:30PM. President Commissioner Steve Chronister and Commissioner Doug Hoke will be on hand as celebrity servers to provide a complimentary packed lunch to haulers delivering waste to the facility.

“This is a perfect opportunity to recognize and thank waste haulers for the important role they play in the management of municipal solid waste”, says Dave Vollero, Authority Executive Director. Adds Vollero, “The York County Resource Recovery Center is an outstanding example of the good that can result from public and private entities working together to address the responsible management of waste”.
