Register for "America Recycles Day" Elementary School Assembly: Magic Pots & Recycled Bottles!
The York County Solid Waste Authority presents....An Elementary School Assembly: Magic Pots & Recycled Bottles featuring Kathleen Jacobs & Puppets Celebrate “America Recycles Day” with a FREE interactive puppet show that teaches the basics of recycling! A limited number of performances are being offered to York County elementary schools on a first-come, first-served basis. If your school is selected, a performance will be scheduled at your school for November 5 through November 16, 2012. This performance is appropriate for Grades 1-6. Puppeteer Kathleen Jacobs performs on an elevated stage for up to 300 people and on a floor for up to 200 people. “Magic Pots and Recycled Bottles” focuses on the importance of recycling and understanding what happens to our garbage. Kathleen Jacobs calls upon students to be a part of the show by answering questions, helping with sound effects and being puppeteers. Puppets are made from common household items.
