What to Do With Old Cell Phones
Cell phones are accepted for recycling by the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC), and its participating local retailers. Place your entire old cell phone in the box at the retailer marked "cell phones". The following York County retailers participate in the RBRC collection program. Please call to verify that they are also accepting cell phones. OR..... Old cell phones (any brand) may also be donated to "Hope Line", a program sponsored by Verizon. Hope Line provides cell phones for domestic violence prevention programs. Take your old cell phone to any Verizon retail store in York County and donate it for free.
