X-rays

CAUTION: X-ray films contain toxic metals.

RECYCLING:  Contact a hospital or radiology clinic to ask if they will accept x-ray films for their x-ray recycling program.  X-ray films may also be recycled by mailing to an x-ray recycling company such as B. W. Recycling, Inc.  Click here for more information. 

DISPOSAL:  Small quantities of x-ray films from a residence can also be disposed of in the regular trash.
