Tours

Bring your group for a free tour of the York County Resource Recovery Center or the Hopewell Area Recreation Complex. Tours can be scheduled throughout the year for anyone six years of age or older.

Educational Programs

YCSWA offers in-person and virtual educational programs on a variety of topics. All are provided at no cost to York County residents, schools, and civic groups, for anyone six years of age or older.

In addition, YCSWA sponsors the Earth Day Recycled Art Contest and America Recycles Day Elementary School Assembly annually. See how your school can take part.

“The ComBUSTER” Newsletter

A free resource for elementary school teachers, “The ComBUSTER” tells the story of how waste is made into electricity in York County. It also features games, puzzles, and recycling information. Limited hard copies are available by calling 717-845-1066, or click the image to download.
