Free Drop-Off Point for Recyclables
The York County Solid Waste Authority’s Recycling Drop-Off Center is open for use by York County residents and commercial entities. There is no fee to deliver recyclables to this facility.

Clothing & Shoes
Clean clothing and shoes accepted in the Salvation Army drop-off bin ONLY.

Corrugated Cardboards
All sizes, dry and flattened.

Food & Beverage Cans (Aluminum, Steel, Bi-Metal)
Rinse thoroughly to remove contaminants and residue. Labels do not need to be removed.

- Aerosol Cans
- Paint Cans

Paper
Newspaper, office paper, mixed paper, junk mail, envelopes, magazines, catalogs, post cards, etc.

Cereal boxes, shoe boxes, tissue boxes, paper towel / toilet paper rolls, etc.

Directions to the Recycling Drop-Off Center
From I-83
- Take I-83 to Exit 21 (Arsenal Road / RT 30E).
- As you come off the exit ramp, immediately get into the far-left lane and proceed to the stoplight at the intersection of Toronita Street and RT 30 East.
- Turn left onto Toronita Street, which becomes Blackbridge Road.
- Continue approximately ¾ of a mile and turn left onto Blackgum Court.
- Proceed up the hill and turn left onto Blackthorne Court. The entrance to the Recycling Drop-Off Center will be on your left.
From Route 30
- At the stoplight at the intersection of Toronita Street and Route 30, turn right onto Toronita Street, which becomes Blackbridge Road.
- Continue approximately ¾ of a mile and turn left onto Blackgum Court.
- Proceed up the hill and turn left onto Blackthorne Court. The entrance to the Recycling Drop-Off Center will be on your left.
