Adhesives and Sealants

CAUTION:  Some adhesives, epoxies, glues and sealants contain solvents, plastics and preservatives which are health hazards.  Read the label on the container to determine if the adhesive you want to dispose of has these qualities.  If it does, click here for options to manage household hazardous waste in York County.

REUSE:  Adhesives and sealants that are in good usable condition may be able to be donated or resold.  An internet search such as “donate glue York PA” will show organizations that accept these materials for donation, or click here to view a list of York County donation/reuse outlets.  Reusable items can also be resold at garage sales, consignment stores and on internet sale platforms.

TRASH:  Adhesives that are non-hazardous can be disposed in the regular trash.
