Aerosol Cans

CAUTION:  Aerosol cans that contain household hazardous waste such as household cleaners or insecticides, should be managed using the household hazardous waste guidelines provided here.  

RECYCLING:  Aerosol cans are NOT accepted in York County curbside and drop-off recycling programs. To find out what materials are recyclable in your municipality, contact them directly.

TRASH:  Aerosol cans that contain non-hazardous materials such as latex paint or cooking spray, should be bagged tightly to prevent leakage and placed in the regular trash.
