Animal Remains

CAUTION:  Livestock and poultry remains must be disposed in specific ways in order to protect environmental, flock/herd and human health.  For information click here to visit the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture website.

ROADKILL REMOVAL:  Large animals that have died as the result of a vehicle collision can be removed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.  For information click here to visit their website.

PET REMAINS MANAGEMENT: To manage deceased pet remains, contact a veterinarian’s office regarding cremation services. 

TRASH:  Animal carcasses and butchering remains must be disposed at Modern Landfill.  For more information click here.
