Books

Books that are in good condition can usually be donated. An internet search such as “donate books York PA” will show organizations that accept books for donation. 

Books are not recyclable in most curbside bins and recycling drop-offs in York County. To verify what is recyclable in your municipality, contact them directly. Continental Paper Grading, a York County paper recycling business, accepts books for recycling via drop-off but there are special instructions for doing so. For more information, click here. 

Books can also be disposed of in the regular trash.
