Cooking Oil

Cooking oil can be disposed of at the York County Resource Recovery Center (YCRRC) but is subject to the YCRRC tipping fee, is limited to no more than 5 gallons per disposal and must be taken to the liquids hopper in the Small Load Drop-off Area. Click here for information on the YCRRC rates and hours.

Cooking oil can also be disposed of in the regular trash but must be absorbed using a material such as kitty litter and tightly sealed in a container or double bagged to prevent leakage.
