Cookware and Dinnerware

REUSE:  Cookware and dinnerware that is in good useable condition can be donated or resold.  An internet search such as “donate cookware York PA” will show organizations that accept these items for donation, or click here to view a list of York County donation/reuse outlets.  Reusable items can also be resold at garage sales, consignment stores and on internet sale platforms.

RECYCLE:  Metal pots, pans and flatware may be recyclable at metal scrap businesses.  An internet search such as “recycle metal pots and pans York PA” will show businesses that accept these items for recycling.  Plastic cookware and dinnerware are recyclable at York business CRDC through their drop-off program.  For more information click here.  Metal, plastic, ceramic, glass, and stone cookware and bakeware are NOT recyclable in curbside bins and recycling drop-offs in York County.

TRASH:  All cookware and dinnerware can be disposed in the regular trash.
