Doors

Doors may be able to be donated. An internet search such as “donate door York PA” will show businesses that accept these materials for donation. 

Metal doors can often be recycled at metal salvage businesses. An internet search such as “recycle metal door York PA” will show businesses that accept these materials for recycling. 

Metal and glass doors can also be disposed at Modern Landfill (717-246-2686).

Vinyl and wood doors can be disposed of in the regular trash or at the York County Resource Recovery Center (YCRRC).  Click here for information on the YCRRC rates and hours. Your waste hauler may have additional requirements for bulk waste disposal.  Contact them directly for more information.
