Drywall used in home construction may be able to be donated. An internet search such as “donate drywall York PA” will show businesses that accept this material for donation.
Drywall can also be disposed of in your trash or at the York County Resource Recovery Center (YCRRC) but is limited to two 42 gallon contractor bags per disposal. If you choose to take your items to the YCRRC, click here for information on rates and hours. Your waste hauler may have additional requirements for bulk waste disposal. Contact them directly for more information.
