Lawn and Garden Items

Lawn and garden items such as benches, bird baths, fountains and statues that are in good condition may be able to be donated.  An internet search such as “donate garden statue York PA” will show organizations that accept such items for donation. 

Metal lawn and garden items may be able to be recycled at metal salvage businesses.  An internet search such as “recycle metal bench York PA” will show businesses that accept these items for recycling. 

Lawn and garden items that are made plastic or wood can be disposed of in the regular trash or at the York County Resource Recovery Center (YCRRC). Click here for information on YCRRC rates and hours. 

Metal laundry line poles with concrete attached to them and lawn and garden items that are made of concrete or stone must be disposed of at Modern Landfill (717-246-2686).
