Hot Tubs/Spas

REUSE:  Hot tubs/spas in good working condition may be able to be donated or resold.  An internet search such as “donate hot tub York PA” will show organizations that accept such items for donation, or click here to view a list of York County donation/reuse outlets.  Reusable items can also be resold at garage sales, consignment stores and on internet sale platforms.

TRASH:  Hot tubs can be disposed at the York County Resource Recovery Center, (YCRRC), but must be cut into pieces no larger than six feet by six feet.  For information on the YCRRC hours and rates, click here.  Hot tubs that are not cut into pieces are too large to be processed at the YCRRC and must be disposed of at Modern Landfill.  For more information, click here.
