Plant Pots and Cases

REUSE:  Decorative plant pots in good condition may be able to be donated or resold.  An internet search such as “donate planter York PA” will show businesses that accept these materials for donation, or click here to view a list of York County donation/reuse outlets.  Reusable items can also be resold at garage sales, consignment stores and on internet sale platforms.   Empty plastic plant pots and cases that plants came in at the time of purchase can be returned to Lowe’s Home Improvement stores for reuse and may be able to be returned to other garden centers, if you ask. 

RECYCLE:  Plastic plant pots and cases are NOT accepted in York County curbside recycling bins, but are recyclable at CRDC York County recycling drop-offs.  Click here for more information.  

TRASH:  Plant pots and cases can be disposed in the regular trash.
