Plants and Weeds

RECYCLE:  Plants can be added to backyard compost, however, any seeds they may contain have the potential to germinate in the compost.  For this reason, it is not recommended that weeds and undesirable plants be added to compost. 

TRASH:  Plants and weeds can be disposed of in the regular trash.  They are not accepted at local yard waste programs and mulching facilities.
