Plaster

REUSE:  Plaster in good usable condition may be able to be donated or resold.  An internet search such as “donate plaster York PA” will show businesses that accept this material for donation, or click here to view a list of York County donation/reuse outlets.  Reusable items can also be resold at garage sales, consignment stores and on internet sale platforms.

TRASH: 

  • Plaster can be disposed in the regular trash but is limited to two 42-gallon trash bags per disposal.  Your waste hauler may have additional requirements for large item disposal.  Contact them directly for more information. 
  • Plaster can be disposed at the York County Resource Recovery Center (YCRRC) but is limited to two 42-gallon trash bags per disposal.  Click here for information on the YCRRC rates and hours.
  • Plaster quantities exceeding the limits stated above must be disposed at Modern Landfill.  Click here for more information.
