Acrylic Sheet Glass

REUSE:  Acrylic sheet glass in good usable condition may be able to be donated or resold. An internet search such as “donate acrylic sheet glass York PA” will show businesses that accept this material for donation, or click here to view a list of York County donation/reuse outlets.  Reusable items can also be resold at garage sales, consignment stores and on internet sale platforms.

TRASH: 

  • Acrylic sheet glass can be disposed in the regular trash, but is limited to no more than 6 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter.  Your waste hauler may have additional requirements for large item disposal.  Contact them directly for more information. 
  • Acrylic sheet glass can be disposed at the York County Resource Recovery Center (YCRRC), but is limited to no more than 6 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter.  Click here for information on the YCRRC rates and hours.   
  • Acrylic sheet glass exceeding the size limits stated above must be disposed of at Modern Landfill.  Click here for information.
