Help to keep your trash haulers safe in snow and ice by:
• Clearing a 3-foot wide path to the curb
• Placing bins on level pavement—not on snowbanks
• Keeping lids closed to prevent frozen, heavy trash
• Ensuring containers are visible, use reflective markers if necessary
• Avoid placing your trash too close to plow routes to prevent accidents and service delays

Please DO NOT place TVs and computers by the curb for your trash hauler to pick up!
Some electronics cannot be disposed of in the trash due to the toxic metals they contain. The Covered Device Recycling Act makes computer recycling and TV recycling mandatory in Pennsylvania.
BY LAW, the following electronics MUST be recycled!
• Computers
• Computer Monitors
• Computer Peripherals (Keyboard, Mouse, Printer, etc.)
• Televisions
Visit www.ycswa.com/services/recycling/electronics/ to find out where to recycle your electronics.
