When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.Use your rotting pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns to compost!
To compost a pumpkin, remove any candles or decorations. Next, cut it into smaller pieces to speed up decomposition. Place the pieces into a compost pile or bin, mixing them with "brown"(carbon-rich and dry) materials like dried leaves to balance the "green" (nitrogen-rich and moist) pumpkin, and cover the pieces with more leaves.
If you can’t compost your pumpkins or jack-o-lanterns, find a local farmer who can use them as a treat for their animals.

We had great weather for Hauler Appreciation Day!
Last week, YCSWA and Reworld Waste showed our appreciation for our trash haulers and other customers with coffee and doughnuts, along with lunch from Mama’s Meltz and a small gift of our appreciation!
To make the day even more exciting, President Commissioner, Julie Wheeler, and Commissioner, Doug Hoke, joined YCSWA staff to serve lunch to the haulers.
Thank you, trash haulers, for the work you do each day to keep York County clean and safe.
